Job details: Beginning February, 2019 to December 31, 2019 with possibility of extension
24 hours per week (3 days a week) – February to May and October to December
32 hours a week (4 days per week) – June to September
$16/hour
The main focus of your work will be collaboratively with the Registrations Lead and team. Qualities of professionalism, harmony with a tone of calmness in helping people arrange and arrive at the ashram are an asset for this position. You will have a focus in registrations, which requires technical, people and process skills.
The person in this position is expected to perform all duties as assigned, using the following guidelines:

Summary of responsibilities – essential job responsibility and functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Communicate with potential guests via email, phone and in person, answering questions about ashram courses and retreats, and about their stay in general.
- Register guests and others from email, phone and paper registration forms, using Resort Suite (Registrations Software)
- Ensure the registrations system is up-to-date, making changes as needed
- Send confirmation letters
- Assign rooms to guest in consultation with others as needed
- Communicate current information about arrivals/departures and transportation needs
- Ensure up-to date registration cards are ready for new arrivals.
- Greet and register guests upon arrival, take payments and update RS info as needed
- Registration Reports and other reports as needed or negotiated
- Administer group registrations
- Assist with the development of policies to facilitate efficient and effective decision-making with respect to guest experience
- Complete simple sales and Gift Store cash outs as needed
Required Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel
- Flexibility to work with computer software and a willingness to learn
